I’m an independent communications consultant based in New York City. Over the past half decade I've worked with some of the country's leading hospitality brands as a project manager, brand strategist and PR director.

I grew up in Washington DC, Ukraine and Turkey before moving to Scotland for university. My first forays into food were in the kitchens of Jaleo and the Smithsonian, where I peeled prawns and coordinated cooking demos. After finishing school, I moved to New York to work in hospitality. After a stint at PR agency Baltz & Co, I landed at Major Food Group, where I started as the Executive Assistant and worked my way up to Director of Communications in less than a year. Seeking experience with scaling a brand, I then joined the team at Dig Inn, where I focused on bridging online and offline marketing efforts for new restaurant openings.

To date, I've worked on a dozen restaurant openings - and counting - around the country.

I am currently pursuing a Master of Arts degree in Food Studies at New York University. In 2017, I completed a program in design at Shillington School of Design, focusing on brand development and visual identity. I am also a graduate of the University of St Andrews, where I earned a degree in history + haggis.

Let’s high five:
